Police Families Welfare Society celebrates 51st foundation day

New Delhi, April 12

The 51st Foundation Day of Police Families Welfare Society 'Upaan' was  celebrated at Red Fort. 

Sangita Saxena wife of Lieutenant Governor, Delhi was the Chief Guest. The chief guest was warmly welcomed by Ritu Arora, President PFWS and other office bearers of PFWS and members of police families.

The programme started with lamp lighting followed by an audio-visual display of PFWS activities. 

The Chief Guest Sangita Saxena and President PFWS Ritu Arora addressed the gathering and  praised efforts and activities undertaken by PFWS. 

A light and sound show 'Matrabhoomi' depicting  the glorious history of India was showcased on rampart wall of Red Fort. A felicitation ceremony for the members of PFWS was also held at the event. A light and sound show 'Jai Hind' was also held inside Red Fort.
