Police train Yuva trainees as COVID health worker to fight with next possible 3rd wave of COVID -19

During the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, India has been facing scarcity of resources to deal with the emergency situation. While experts have suspected about the possibility of third wave of COVID-19, the need to arrange the resources in advance has emerged.
Delhi police north district has started training the YUVA trainees as primary health workers. They are being imparted basic training from path laboratories, so that they can assist the patients/hospitals in case of any emergency.
North District Police in association with S B Pathological Lab in Ashok Vihar has started the following short term training programmes.
Training programme for front line Covid health worker, training programme for general duty assistant , training programme for emergency medical technician , training programme for Covid Protocol, training programme for ambulance driver, training programme for domestic Covid health worker, home care assistant CPR
Addl.DCP North District Chander Kumar
inaugurated the 10 days training course in the Laboratory Auditorium, Ashok Vihar, Delhi, in which 55 YUVA candidates joined for the training.
Dr. Ram Kumar, Sanjay Jindal and Dr. Dasmender, (Md. Mediciane) will train the YUVA candidates theoretically as well as practically. Chander Kumar also interacted with the trainees, officials added.
