Punjab man kills family, pet dog before killing himself
The preliminary investigations revealed that the man had been suffering from depression for a long time
New Delhi, June 25
A man from Punjab reportedly shot dead his mother, daughter and pet dog before ending his life.
The incident happened at his residence in Ram Rajya colony of Barnala district.
The police identified the victim as Kulbir Mann Singh who first shot his his 21-year-old daughter Nimrat Kaur, then killed his mother Balwant Kaur (85) and pet dog.
The police added that he had a licensed revolver, which he used for the act.
The preliminary investigations revealed that Mann had been suffering from depression for a long time.
Mann's daughter had recently returned from Canada. The police have lodged case or murder and suicide and probing it further.
