Punjab Police honours head constable of Amritsar for saving a dog's life
New Delhi, July 4
A Punjab Police head constable Palwinder Singh was honoured by Punjab Police for saving a dog, whose head was stuck in the fog-lamp hole of a car bumper.
Additional DGP (Traffic), Amardeep Singh Rai handed over the Commendation Certificate (Class-1) to Palwinder. Palwinder is currently posted at Mohkampura police station in Amritsar Commissionerate
A video of Palwinder pulling out the dog was shared widely on social media and appreciated from all quarters for saving an innocent animal's life.
The officials stated that the compassionate act will inspire others to lend a hand when they see any animal in distress.
