Rinku Sharma Murder Case: Delhi Crime Branch arrests four more persons

New Delhi, February 21

The Delhi Crime Branch has arrested four more persons in Rinku Sharma's murder case on Sunday. 

The police have identified the accused as Deen Mohd alias Sakaruddin (40), Dilshan alias Aftab (22), son of Deen Mohd, Fayaiz  alias Sadri (21) and his brother Faizan alias Nirale (21) all from Mangolpuri in Delhi. 

The crime branch also released the video containing CCTV footage of the accused who can be seen allegedly attacking Rinku on February 10 night in Mangolpuri. 

As per the case details, Rinku and the accused were returning after attending a birthday party on the fateful day and an argument broke out between them over food joints in Rohini. 

The victim’s younger brother Manu Sharma is a member of the Vishva Hindu Parishad’s youth wing Bajrang Dal, and he and the organisations have claimed that the murder was committed over the fund collection drive for the Ram Mandir. However, the victim's mother had refuted her son's claims and had told police that there was no communal angle to his murder. 

The crime branch had earlier arrested five person in this case.
