New Delhi, February 14
Six people were arrested for allegedly stealing furniture and various other items from a CBI camp office in the Shyamali Bazar area of Agartala.
The police identified two of the arrested accused as Biplab Debbarma and Raju Bhowmik who were arrested.
The police stated that the camp, located in this highly protected area, was closed for over five months. The incident came to light after CBI officials visited the office premises on February 11.
The duo stole eight stolen steel almirahs, four windows, seven wooden doors, four chairs and a geyser, among other items, which were eventually recovered.
