Uttar Pradesh Police seized a Toyota Innova car from Deoria and initiated legal action against a man for unauthorisedly using a red beacon and hooter.
The police took cognizance of a reel showing a young man with a red light on his black car that went viral on social media.
The accused was identified as Shahid aka Anshu Khan, a resident of Abubakar Nagar locality, who was subsequently detained.
His father, Jalauddin Khan, is the president of an organisation named Anjuman Islamia.
The police informed that the video was shot a few days ago at a marriage lawn in the city. During interrogation, Shahid told the cops that he had bought the red light to make a reel
