The woman complainant who is a contractual employee at the Raj Bhawan, also claimed that Bose is now threatening his staff not to cooperate in the investigation and for the same he also shot letters to the staff.

It came to the fore that Bose wrote to Raj Bhawan employees to ignore any communication from police in this matter.

The Kolkata Police have formed a special team to probe the sexual harassment allegations against him.

The Governor has described the allegations as “absurd drama”, and said that none would be able to deter him from his “determined efforts to expose corruption and curb violence.”

Following the woman’s complaint, the Governor had banned the entry of police into Raj Bhavan premises “under the guise of conducting unauthorised, illegitimate, sham and motivated ‘investigation’ to placate political bosses during elections”

Meanwhile, the Governor showed the CCTV footage of the alleged day of sexual harassment from the Raj Bhawan to nearly 100 persons. The woman complainant has claimed that the move was made to reveal her identity to citizens.
