A young man died after he slipped from his bike on a pothole near Mehrauli-Badarpur road.
The man was identified as Rashid Khan(37) who was also wearing his helmet while driving.
He was found unconscious with a severe head injury after his motorcycle allegedly slipped on a pothole near a traffic light close to Hamdard Hospital. He was later declared dead at AIIMS Trauma Centre.
According to police officers, a PCR call regarding the incident was received at Tigri police station. On reaching the spot, authorities found the injured man, His motorcycle and helmet were found nearby.
The police have registered a case against unknown persons under BNS sections 281 (rash or negligent driving) and 106(1) (causing death by negligence), and further investigation is underway.
