The monsoon of 2023 brought the state of Himachal Pradesh into a near destruction with around 108 deaths and damage worth Rs. 37.38 crores. Massive destruction took place in Kullu and Manali leaving the beautiful tourist cities into a destructed land. Himachal Pradesh Police rose to the requirement and geared up to carry out on the massive rescue operations. 70,000 stranded tourists were rescued by police and SDRF across the state.
