The Joint Retreat ceremony at ICP Petrapole by troops of Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), featuring lowering of the respective national flags of India and Bangladesh, is a display of mutual respect and camaraderie between the two nations, also showcasing the dedication and professionalism of both the BSF and BGB troops, who work in unison to make the ceremony a success.
The joint retreat ceremony, organised twice a week (on Tuesday and Saturday) is witnessed by a large gathering, including officials from both the BSF and BGB, as well as civilians from the surrounding areas.
