117 DAGOS including three women commandos pass out of the CRPF Academy

New Delhi, December 25

A batch of 117 Directly Appointed Gazetted Officers (DAGOs) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) passed out from the CRPF Academy in Kadarpur in an impressive ceremony. 

Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai was the Chief Guest at the event. A ceremony was held along with a parade to mark the occasion which also witnessed a roar of oath to serve the nation.

The CRPF stated that the 52nd batch of DAGOs consists of 117 trainees including three women officers from 21 states of the country.

Rai took the salute of the parade congratulated the trainee officers. 

Lauding the display of flawless and exquisite parade, the Minister in his address, extended his best wishes to the new officers for a glorious career. 

Terming the CRPF as a symbol of valour, honesty, sacrifice and devotion, the Minister affirmed his trust in the abilities of these newly passed officers for maintaining the internal security of the nation.

The academic profile of the batch is technology oriented as it has as many as 91 officers who have engineering-related degrees. The trainee officers received their awards for their performance during the training. 

Vineet Kumar Singh, Assistant Commandant Trainee adjudged as All Round Best Trainee of 52nd batch and was given prestigious Sword of Honour.

Megha Nair, Assistant Commandant Trainee was adjudged best in Public Speaking in 52nd Batch of DAGOs.

Gajula Jyotendra Nath Sai Assistant Commandant Trainee was adjudged as Best in Information Technology in 52nd batch of DAGOs.

Dharmendra Kumar, Assistant Commandant secured trophies for best in Indoor, Firing and Essay writing in 52nd batch DAGOs

Sumit Srikant Sathe, Assistant Commandant Trainee was adjudged as Best in Outdoor of 52nd batch of DAGOs.

Nishant Sharma, Assistant Commandant, Trainee of squad 09 received CRPF DGs banner for best squad in 52nd batch of DAGOs

Vishal Kumar Singh, Assistant Commandant Trainee was adjudged best in Physical Training in 52nd Batch of DAGOs.

Manu H C, Assistant Commandant, Trainee received Director's Baton for commanding the Passing out Parade of 52nd Batch of DAGOs.

Borhade Ajinkya Macchindra , Assistant Commandant Trainee was adjudged Best in Tactics in 52nd Batch of DAGOs.

Suraj Gowardhan Ramteeke, Assistant Commandant Trainee was adjudged best in Drill of 52nd Batch of DAGOs.

Kuldeep Singh, DG CRPF, extended his gratitude to Rai for his presence at the event. He reaffirmed the steadfast devotion and commitment of the force towards tackling effectively, the new and ever-evolving internal security dynamics, CRPF added. 

DG Singh also released ‘Parakram’, a coffee table book illustrating the journey of 52nd batch of DAGOs at CRPF Academy. 

In addition that, the Shailendra Memorial Trophy for Best cultural performance was introduced in 52nd batch. Sanju Singh, wife of Late Shailendra Vikram Singh DIG gave the trophy to Pankaj Kumar AC and team for performance on communal harmony and CRPF during cultural night of passing out parade of the 52nd batch.
