20 dogs found poisoned and murdered in Mahoba district of UP

New Delhi, September 6
In a horrific incident, 20 street dogs were found poisoned and murdered in Mahoba district of UP.
The dogs were allegedly found dead in Basura village of the district where the primary investigation shows the dogs eere given poison in food.
The police said the village head Sukhnandan Prajapati filed a complaint regarding the incident.
The police who visited the spot stated that the villagers informed they found bowls of half eaten bread where they suspect the dogs were fed poison with bread.
The police added that so far 20 dogs were found dead and buried while the village head suspects more dogs were fed poisonous food.
The district administration has ordered an investigation into the incident. The animal lovers and animal rights activists expressed immense outrage on the incident and sought help from BJP leader Maneka Gandhi to ensure the case is probed thoroughly.
Barely, two days ago, three dogs were found murdered with acid attack in Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh where the People For Animals (PFA) Indore alongwith the Ujjain volunteer had filed a complaint under Prevention of Cruelty on Animals Act.
