CBI arrest two pvt employees of Central Bureau of Narcotics Mandsaur in bribery case

CBI laid a trap and caught the duo red-handed while demanding and accepting the bribe amount of Rs.1.10 lakhs from the complainant,  on behalf of accused Sub-Inspector

New Delhi, December 6

The Central Investigation of Bureau (CBI) apprehended two accused (contractual employees) of Central Bureau of Narcotics(CBN), Mandsaur, for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 1.10 lakh  from the complainant on behalf of accused Sub-Inspector of CBN, Mandsaur.

The agency registered a case in November against accused Sub-Inspector of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Mandsaur  and unknown others on allegations  that  accused Sub-Inspector, CBN, Mandsaur demanded undue advantage of Rs.1.20 lakhs from the complainant for issuing license for cultivation of Opium.

The CBI then laid a trap and caught the duo red-handed while demanding and accepting the bribe amount of Rs.1.10 lakhs from the complainant,  on behalf of accused Sub-Inspector. 

Both accused contractual employees have been apprehended, officials added.
