Delhi CP extended wishes to kin of Delhi police personnel for clearing UPSC

New Delhi, September 28

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana, today met Nitin Yadav, son of a Delhi Police personnel and congratulated him on his success in this year’s Civil Services Examination who secured All India Rank 363. 

Nitin is son of ASI Vinay Kumar posted in Delhi crime branch. CP Delhi complimented Nitin for his perseverance and wished him all success in future.  

Nitin finished schooling from Delhi Police Public School, Safdar Jung Enclave, Delhi and later joined Delhi Technological University for B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The family belongs to Kapashera Village in Delhi. Nitin believed to be a hardworking boy also worked at his dairy farm even while he prepared for civil services examination.

Another police kin, Pooja Gupta, daughter of ASI Rekha Gupta posted in Delhi Police Communications Wing, has improved her All India Ranking to 42 in this year exam from her previous selection of AIR 147. Pooja Gupta is currently undergoing training at SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
