Delhi Police arrest a man who made derogatory remarks on Congress leader Alka Lamba

New Delhi, August 10

The Delhi Police arrested a man who had abused Congress Alka Lamba.

On August 9, Lamba had tweeted with a video of a man abusing her and using foul language where she wrote, "Can we expect any kind of legal action against this person or not? Will wait for reply".

In the purported video, the accused can be seen using derogatory language against Lamba. 

The police have identified the accused as Vikas Sehrawat (30) from Uttam Nagar. 

The Bindapur police under Dwarka district had formed teams.to trace the accused based on the video. He was traced in Uttam Nagar from where he was arrested.


The police added that the accused is being interrogated to know the reason behind the act.
