Delhi Police arrests two who robbed businessman, recover Rs. 1.07 crores

The Delhi Police arrested two men who robbed a businessman of Shalimar Bagh and also recovered stolen cash amounting to Rs 1.07 crore.
The police identified the accused as Anil Kumar, 21, and Deepak Kumar, 26, from Bihar.
As per the case details, on May 6, businessman Sanjay Aggarwal, a resident of Shalimar Bagh, reported that his domestic help, Anil, who had been employed just a month ago had gone missing that morning. Anil’s phone was switched off, and he was nowhere to be found. Aggarwal told the police that upon inspecting his almirah, he discovered that approximately Rs 1.25 crore in cash had been stolen.
The investigative team scanned CCTV footage and conducted technical surveillance to track the movements of the accused.
DCP (Northwest) Bhisham Singh stated that police carried out raid in the Ghaziabad area and apprehended the accused. During sustained interrogation, the accused confessed to his involvement in the present case along with his associate Deepak. Based on his disclosure, stolen cash amounting to Rs 1.07 crore and three bags were recovered.
