Delhi police constable allegedly harassed a woman trainee constable of UP police, gave death threats

New Delhi, September 15

A woman constable under training at Moradabad of UP has filed a complaint against a Delhi Police constable who has allegedly threatened to kill her and her family for turning down marriage proposal.

The male Delhi Police constable is a resident of Kakod village in Bulandshahr as is the victim. The accused constable started harassing the woman constable and her family after she was selected for the UP Police. 

The girl's family has given a complaint at Chola police station and demanded police protection. As per the complaint, the accused constable has been pressurising them to marry off their daughter to him.   

The family said the accused calls both the girl and her family and giving death threats  if they marry her off to another man.
