The Delhi Police has come up with a unique app known as ‘Chunav Guide’ to streamline operations for security personnel and paramilitary forces during voting for the Lok Sabha elections in Shahdara district
The Chunav Guide app acts as a digital aid for the personnel, who will be deployed at different voting booths across Shahdara district, and also assist officers with the exact location of a booth. It will also contain essential contact numbers.
The App has search option where officials can swiftly locate essential contact numbers. There will also be access to guidelines which the officers can use for easy reading of management-issued guidelines. Enabled with Google Map location, the police personnel would know the exact loction of polling booths.
The booth details, such as the contact details of the ACP, SHO and magistrate of the area where the booth is located, the nearest police station and hospital, the sector magistrate and the sector police officer will also be present in the app
The Chunav Guide is an exclusive digital app for Delhi Police officers and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), to streamline their operations during the election period.
