Delhi Police organize health check up for policemen in central district

New Delhi, May 28

The Delhi Police organize helath check up for policemen in central district in collaboration with Fortis Hospital and Chaudhary Eye Center.

DCP (Central) Shweta Chauhan inaugurated the health checkup camp for police personnel at Daryaganj.

The officials said a large number of police personnel were medically examined by the faculty of Fortis Hospital and Chaudhary Eye Center.  

The camp saw participation of around 140 police personnel and 17 medical professionals, which included cardiologists and orthopedics. During the camp, an in-depth medical checkup was conducted, and medical advised was provided.

Eye checkup was also done and necessary corrections were prescribed by the medical professionals of Chaudhary Eye centre.

DCP Chauhan addressed all the police personnel.

She emphasized on regular check-up because it can help doctors to diagnose disease before it poses high risk and reduces the risk of complication during treatment. Once you are diagnosed with a health condition at an early stage, the complexity and risk involved are less when compared to diagnosing at a very late stage. She further urged all not to neglect health and encouraged their participation in all walks of life.

DCP Central also handed over certificate of appreciation to all the medical professionals.
