Delhi Police organizes Ayurveda camp for it's personnel, families

The camp screened the officials for Cervical, diabetes, stress related diseases, Blood Pressure, Migraine (Headache) etc.

New Delhi, September 3

A Free Ayurveda Awareness Medical Camp was organized in 1st battalion  of Delhi Armed Police DAP, New Police Lines for  Delhi Police employees and their family members. 

A team of Ayurvedic Doctors and specialists from Sandhyashi Neuro Panchkarma, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi had organized the Free Ayurveda Awareness Medical Camp. 

The camp screened the officials for Cervical, diabetes, stress related diseases, Blood Pressure, Migraine (Headache) etc. Necessary consultation with experienced Ayurvedic Doctors was done and they advised the concerned person about use of medicines and prescribed them related therapies and direct them to do Physical Exercises according to their problem. Distribution of basic Ayurvedic remedies and advice on home based treatments for common ailments has been done.

A total of 121 police officials and their family members attended the Free Ayurveda Awareness Medical Camp, which was aimed as a welfare measure to provide free checkup for the police officials, who normally over look this aspect due to their busy work schedule. More such specialized free health checkup camps are being planned in near future to cover remaining police personnel and their family members as a welfare measure.
