New Delhi, December 27
The Enforcement Directorate carried out searches at three locations linked to Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Hulas Pandey.
The raids were conducted simultaneously in Patna, Bengaluru, and Delhi.
Hulas Pandey, a prominent strongman within Union Minister Chirag Paswan's party, is under scrutiny for undisclosed allegations related to financial irregularities.
Pandey is said to be close to party chief Chirag Paswan.
In December 2023, he resigned as the chairman of the party's parliamentary board after the CBI, in a chargesheet, named him the mastermind in a sensational murder case of Brahmeshwar Singh Mukhiya, the founder and head of the private militia Ranvir Sena, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Bihar.
