Five dogs killed in a gruesome acid attack in Ujjain of MP

New Delhi, September 4
Five street dogs died in Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh following a cruel acid attack on them.
The Ujjain Police stated that the incident came to light when Brijraj Parihar, a resident of Mahalakshmi Nagar, found the dogs withering in pain in the morning.
Parihar rushed the dogs to the veterinary hospital from where they were referred to a Indore hospital they succumed.
People for Animal (PFA) member Priyanshu Jain from Indore and Parihar filed a complaint against unknown persons at Nagjhiri police station.
The police are now scanning CCTV footage to identify the accused.
The police have registered a case under the the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
