Haryana police arrest two fro Kapil Sangwan gang who were wanted in Paschim Vihar property dealer murder

New Delhi, April 16
The Haryana Police apprehended two of the four suspects from the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow who were on the run after the property dealer was shot dead in Outer Delhi’s Paschim Vihar.
The two men picked up have been identified as Shubham Sharma and Shokeen Khan who are among the four accused involved in the realtor’s murder. Both were absconding in a case lodged in Haryana’s Ambala. A lookout circular (LOC) was issued against them by the Haryana Police
The two suspects were allegedly attempting to escape to Dubai when they were picked up, police claimed.
On Monday, a post put up on X, purportedly by Kapil Sangwan’s gang, claimed that a fake encounter could be executed. “Yesterday, two of our men were picked up from Lucknow airport. They had no weapons. Police should not execute a fake encounter. Action should be taken,” the post read.
Two days prior to this poast, UK-based Kapil gangster Sangwan, also known as Nandu, had allegedly claimed responsibility for property dealer Raj Kumar’s murder, citing gang rivalry.
Following their arrest, Delhi Police is gearing up to take them in their custody while police are on the lookpout for other two members.
All four suspects, residents of Yamuna Nagar in Haryana, allegedly killed Raj Kumar following directions from Sangwan over his rivalry with incarcerated gangster Manjeet Mahal, police added.
