Major reshuffle in Delhi Police gets new DCPs in eight districts

2004 batch IPS officer Veenu Bansal was transferred as Joint CP (Security), while 2004 batch IPS officer Mahender Tiwari was made Joint CP (Armed Police). 2005 batch officer Suman Goyal was transferred from the post of Joint CP (Rashtrapati Bhawan) to Joint CP (Headquarters). 2007 batch IPS officer Vijay Kumar is posted as Additional CP, Delhi Police Housing Corporation Ltd while 2008 batch IPS officer Sanjay Kumar Tyagi is appointed as additional CP Tech. & PI. Tyagi will be holding additional charge of Public Relations Officer for Delhi Police. 

Upon her return from Andaman and Nicobar, Monika Bhardwaj would be assuming the post of Additional CP (Traffic). 2010 batch Satyavir Katara will also be additional CP (traffic). 2009 batch IPS officer, Amit Roy has been appointed as Additional CP (Security) while SK Tewari moves from security to Additional CP (Licensing). 

After the previous reshuffle of the AGMUT cadre officers, over 20 officers from Delhi Police were transferred out to other UT including the district DCPs. 

Following which, the government has appointed new DCPs in eight districts of Delhi Police. 

Rakesh Paweriya, a 2012 batch IPS officer has been posted as DCP North-East. 2014 batch IPS officer Amit Goyal, who was DCP (Crime Branch), will be transferred as DCP (Rohini district) while Bhisham Singh on his arrival in Delhi has been posted as DCP (Crime) where he will be joined by his batchmate Vikram Singh as the same post. 

Nishin Valsan (2012 batch) has been appointed as DCP (Outer-North) and Sachin Sharma (2014 batch) as DCP (Outer). Raja Banthia (2014 batch) as DCP (North), Abhishek Dhania (2012 batch) as DCP (Northwest), Ravi Kumar Singh (2012 batch) as DCP (Southeast) , Surendra Choudhary (2013 batch) posted as DCP (Southwest) and Prashant Gautam (2013 batch) has been posted as DCP (Shadara). 

While 2012 batch IPS officer Guriqbal Singh was transferred from the post of DCP (Rohini) to DCP (Economic Offences Wing).
