Mumbai Police arrests Adri car owner who assaulted, threw cab driver on road in road rage incident
The Audi owner was identified as Rishabh Bibhas Chakraborty, a journalist by profession who was seen in the viral video

Following the viral video where an Auri car driver was seen throwing a cab driver on the road, the Mumbai Police arrested the Audi owner.
The Audi owner was identified as Rishabh Bibhas Chakraborty, a journalist by profession. The cab driver, identified as Kayamuddin Moinuddin Qureshi, was seen driving his taxi in the Asalpha area of Ghatkopar (W).
The police stated that the accused's wife identified as Antara Ghosh, was also involved in the incident as she allegedly pulled the Ola cab device from Qureshi's vehicle and left the spot.
The ncident happened around 11.20 pm on August 18.
The accused was seen in the viral video, lifting the cab driver and smashing him to the ground after a minor collision of their cars.After entering a narrow lane, Qureshi's cab slightly bumped into an Audi Q3 car driven by Chakraborty. Chakraborty got out of his car and slapped Qureshi. He later lifted Qureshi and slammed him to the ground.
The cab driver suffered head and body injuries and was taken to Rajawadi hospital in Ghatkopar and then shifted to state-run JJ hospital. After regaining consciousness, he gave statement to the police.
