NIA chargesheets ten accused including Mumbai cops Pradeep Sharma, Sachin Waze in the Carmichael Road explosives case and death of Mansukh Hiren

New Delhi, September 3
The NIA filed a chargesheet in NIA Special Court in Mumbai in the Carmicheal road case of explosives ridden vehicle where Mumbai cops Pradeep Sharma, Sachin Waze were held among 10 others.
The NIA had arrested Sachin Hindurao Waze, Naresh Ramniklal Gor, Vinayak Balasaheb Shinde, Riyazuddin Hisamuddin Kazi, Sunil Dharma Mane, Santosh Atmaram Shelar, Anand Pandurang Jadhav, Satish Tirupati Mothkuri, Manish Vasantbhai Soni and Pradeep Rameshwar Sharma. The accused have been booked under sections 120B, 201, 286, 302, 364, 384, 386, 403, 419, 465, 471, 473 & 506 of IPC; sections 3 & 25 of Arms Act, section 4 of the Explosive Substances Act and sections, 16, 18 & 20 of UA (P) Act.
The case relates to investigation of following three cases initially registered by Maharashtra Police registered in February at Gamdevi Police Station of Mumbai regarding the placing of explosive laden Mahindra Scorpio Vehicle on Carmichael Road during the intervening night of February 24-25 along with 20 Gelatine sticks explosive and a threat note addressed to chairman of a business group.
The second FIR was registered at Vikhroli Police Station, Mumbai Subsequently related to theft of above-said Mahindra Scorpio vehicle. The third complaint- an accidental death report was registered at Mumbra Police Station pertaining to recovery of dead body of Mansukh Hiran retrieved in March from Mumbra Creek.
The NIA officials said during the investigation incriminating evidences came to fore against the above mentioned 10 arrested accused involved in various stages of conspiracy of placing explosive laden Mahindra Scorpio vehicle, its theft and commission of murder of Mansukh Hiren.
