NT Rama Rao's daughter Uma Maheshwari dies by suicide in Hyderabad

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N T Rama Rao’s daughter K Uma Maheshwari was found dead at her Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad.
The police said Uma (57) was found dead on August 1 and they said it is a case of suicide.
The police informed that as per the family members Uma, her husband, daughter and son-in-law had breakfast together at 10am. She then went to her room after instructing the cook to prepare lunch for her daughter and son-in-law. As she did not come out at 12:30pm, they broke the door open by 1.30pm and found her dead inside her room.
They called police and informed her brother- Nandumuri Balkrishna and former CM N Chandrababu Naidu whose wife is Uma’s sister.
Naidu and his wife, Bhuvaneshwari, rushed to Uma’s residence after coming to know of her demise.
The 60-year-old was the youngest of NTR’s children and his fourth daughter. Uma was also reportedly suffering from ill health for several months.
Uma is survived by her husband and two daughters who live abroad.
