UP ATS busted an ISI module, detained three while live IED seized in Allahabad
New Delhi, September 15
The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) busted an ISI module, detained three people and seized an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) from them.
Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order, Prashant Kumar stated that UP ATS has busted an ISI sponsored module and detained three persons. The detentions were made during simultaneous raids in four districts — Lucknow, Raebareli, Allahabad and Pratapgarh.
The police also seized a live IED in Allahabad and bomb disposal squad was deployed to diffuse it.
The police have detained three suspects who are being interrogated.
