UP Police arrest one who allegedly hacked into Election Commission's website

A man from Uttar Pradesh allegedly hacked into the Election Commission of India (ECI) website and created hundreds of fake voter IDs.
The man identified as Vipul Saini from Sahranpur has been arrested by Uttar Police police.
Vipul Saini has a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree and during the initial probe, police found that he worked at the behest of a person identified as Armaan Malik from Madhya Pradesh.
The police stated that Saini completed his BCA from Gangoh village in the Saharanpur district and his father is a farmer.
He created over 10,000 fake voter IDs over three months.
The police added that Saini was paid Rs 100-200 creating for each ID. The police found Rs 60 lakh having been deposited in his bank account when it was examined.
The police have frozen the account.
The police are investigating the case further to nail down Malik.
