Women IPS officers continue holding the bastion in Delhi with this year's first reshuffle

New Delhi, February 26

With IPS officer Amrutha Guguloth getting transferred as DCP New Delhi District, the Delhi Police now has six women IPS officers leading districts from front in the national capital while two other women officers handling operations and security. 

This is the first reshuffle in Delhi police this year. 

Amrutha Guguloth was posted as DCP Traffic South who is now DCP New Delhi district as DCP Deepak Yadav, DCP New Delhi has been moved to Delhi Crime Branch alongwith Rajesh Deo who was posted in SPUWAC so far. Additional DCP Central, Rohit Meena has been also transferred to Delhi Crime Branch as DCP Crime. 

DCP Crime Monika Bhardwaj who was the first woman IPS officer to get appointed as DCP Crime Branch has now been transferred to Delhi Police Armed Unit 1st batallion with additional charge of 4th battalion.

Joy Tirkey, DCP Crime has been transferred to SPUWAC while Additional CP (Crime)  Shibesh Singh has been given charge of additional CP traffic. SD Mishra, additional CP Traffic will now move as additional CP Crime. 

Jt CP Vivek Kishore has been given the charge of Jt CP Northern Range alongwith additional charge of Jt CP Traffic.

DCP Outer Parvinder Singh has been transferred to Armed Unit 3rd battalion while DCP Sameer Sharma DCP 1st batallion has been transferred as DCP Outer. 

DCP Ghanshyam Bansal has moved as DCP West which was being looked after by DCP Urvija Goel. DCP Mohd Irshad Haider has been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing from Headquarters.

DCP Anti Corruption, Amit Roy has been transferred as DCP Police Technology & Implementation while DCP AK Lall has been moved as DCP Rashtriyapati Bhavan.

Additional DCP New Delhi, Chepyala Anjitha has been transferred as DCP Security while Additional DCP BL Suresh has been moved to Anti Corruption Branch.

Additional DCP Hareesh HP moved as additional DCP West while Pankaj Kumar has moved as additional DCP New Delhi. Lakshmi Kanwat has moved to 8th battalion of armed unit while Sanjay Kumar to 2nd batallion. 

Shweta Singh Chauhan has been transferred to traffic while Anand Kumar Mishra as DCP Operations.

Additional DCP Aalap Patel will be the new DCP Traffic while additional DCP Subodh Goswami has been transferred to Delhi Police Academy.

K Ramesh from EOW has moved as additional DCP II in North district while additional DCP (Southwest) Amit Kaushik has moved to security branch.
