New Delhi, April 3
In an audacious case if firing, two bike borne men fired at an advocate of Delhi killing him brutally in Dwarka area of Delhi.
The deceased advocate was identified as Viredra Kumar Narwal (53) who was attacked on April 1 late evening.
The police said have identified two of the accused in the case. The incident took place in Dwarka Sector 1. The police teams rushed to the spot including DCP Dwarka M Harshvardhan to take the stock of the situation.
The forensic experts and crime team collected evidence from the spot, added police. The advocate's family was informed and his body for sent for post mortem.
According to the police, it is a case of enmity. The accused are distant relatives of the deceased advocate who are on the run after the incident.
The police added that they had allegedly earlier attacked him in 2017 over a property dispute. Thae accused and the deceased have allegedly been fighting over an ancestral property for years.
Kumar was provided with security cover by the Delhi Police after the accused allegedly attacked him in the Prashant Vihar area in 2017, the security was removed in 2021.
DCP (Dwarka) M Harsh Vardhan stated that they have formed several teams to arrest the accused.
