Delhi Police EOW held a fraudster who impersonated as sole owner and sold 15 trust properties

New Delhi, November 15

Delhi Police EOW held a fraudster who impersonated as sole owner and sold 15 trust properties in Chandani Chowk causing loss of Rs. 15 crores.

The accused was identified as Mukesh Tulsian from Shalimar Bagh. 

The EOW stated that the case was registered on complaint of Sharwan Agarwal from Greater kailash Delhi who stated that one Manoj Tulsian has sold 15 properties belonging to trust by impersonating himself as the sole owner and legal heir of Late Jamna Dass the founder of the trust for Rs 35 lakh. The market price of these properties is approximate 15 Crore.

The case was registered under sections 409/420/120B IPC R/W 82 of Registration Act after proper enquiry.

The EOW investigation ascertained the role of Manoj Tulsian. During course of investigation it was found that the trust in the name of  “Tulsian Dharmshala trust” was created by Late Jamna Dass and there were 05 trustees in this trust. Late Radhey Shyam,the father of accused Manoj Tulsian was also the member of the trust and later on late Radhey Shyam become the managing trustee of the trust. After the death of Late Radhey Shyam, Pushpa Devi wife of Radhey Shyam was appointed as Managing trustee in the general meeting on in August 1988. 

After the death of Pushpa Devi the accused was appointed as managing trustee in the trust. There was a provision in the trust deed that no property of the trust can be handed over to anyone. Despite this fact, accused impersonate himself the grandson of late Jamna Dass( founder of trust) and sold the property of trust for Rs 35 lakh. The market price of these properties is approximate 15 Crore. 

According to the EOW, the accused persons hatched a criminal conspiracy to sell out trust properties- shops situated at Nai Sarak Chandni Chowk, Delhi, values in Crores. Accused with connivance of other co-accused, prepared false and fabricated documents of the property claiming himself as owner.

During investigation it was revealed that the accused person was absconding since three months. 

Accused Mukesh Tulsian is the main person who sold the trust properties by impersonating himself as the sole owner and legal heir of late Jamna Das the founder of the trust.

Be a smart investor, don’t invest your hard money in greed of higher profit and always check the credential of the property from landowning agency/person. Before purchasing any land/property, check its genuinity from its owner and documents of the property should be  thoroughly checked &verified.
