DELHI POLICE ORGANIZED AWARENESS AND CULTURAL PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN

New Delhi, March 7

The Delhi Police New Delhi District organized an awareness cum cultural programme on women empowerment alongwith NGOs at Rajiv Chowk in Delhi. 

The programme was organized by the Parivartan Cell of the New Delhi District in associction with various NGOs like Scope Plus, Jagran Group and Asmita Theatre. 

The theatre group presented plays and Nukkad Natak highlighting various issues concerning women. 

DCP (New Delhi) Eish Singhal stated that the trained staff of Parivartan Cell New Delhi District presented demonstration on self defence techniques. A young aspiring kathak dancer Mishti Phuloria impressed upon the audience by performing a beautiful classical dance.

Neeti Suri Mishra, Secretary, Central District Legal Services Authority was the Chief Guest of the program. The programme was attended by senior IPS officers in the district. 

The officials said that whole Programme was based on  the empowerment of women. The program was a great success, motivational and was extremely praised by the audience.
