Delhi Police Recognises 'Metro Brave Hearts'
As part of ongoing Delhi Police Week celebrations, Delhi Metro Rail Police felicitated the “Metro Brave Hearts” on 17.02.18 at Auditorium of P.S. Barakhamba Road. Worthy Joint C.P. SPUWAC & Metro Sh. David Lal Rinsanga, I.P.S gave away the Commendation Rolls and cash prizes to the ‘Brave Hearts’.
Pankaj Kumar Singh, DCP (Metro) told BW Policeworld that in order to curb crime on Metro, several steps were taken including the felicitation of ‘Brave Hearts”. It was decided that the persons who report thieves/pickpockets to police shall be felicitated publically in order to boost their morale and encourage them to help police in nabbing criminals operating on Metro Network.
On 17.02.18, such 33 Brave Hearts were felicitated by Sh. David Lal Rinsanga, IPS, Joint C.P. (SPUWAC & Metro). These brave hearts caught the criminals committing crime in the Metro Network and handed them over to the Police.
Each Brave Heart was given a prize of Rs. 1000/- in cash and the Commendation Roll in recognition of the exceptional work done by them.
