PRESIDENT OF PFWS INAUGURATES HERBAL GARDEN IN DELHI
New Delhi, February 25
The Delhi Police PFWS (Police Family Welfare Society) inguarated a herbal garden and and an activity hall in Model Town Welfare Centre.
President of PFWS, Pratima Shrivastava inaugurated the herbal garden 'Sanjeevani' and an activity hall.
President PFWS also planted some herbs in the garden alongwith other welfare team leaders. This garden has more than 20 variety of medicinal and culinary value plants. President PFWS suggested to have such herbal garden at every welfare centres.
She also addressed the residents and apprised them the benefits and importance of herbs and plants and requested them to take care of the garden as that of their own.
The children and women of the colony performed a cultural programme on the President PFWS's visit highlighting the importance of living in tune with the environment.
The event was well received by colony residents.
