BSF seizes 467 bottles of Phensydyl, a codeine based syrup and 500 of tapentadol tablets from Dinajpur border

BSF also rescued 11 cattles from being smuggled to Bangladesh from the responsibility area of BSF Sector Siliguri

New Delhi, January 31

The Border Security Force (BSF) seized 467 bottles of  Phensydyl, a codeine based syrup and 500 of Tapentadol tablets from border area of village Balupara,  district Dakshin Dinajpur.

Thr BSF stated that these medicines were siezed from the spots in border area, where smugglers from Bangladesh with help of Indian smugglers were trying to smuggle these items from India to Bangladesh in the border area of village Balupara of district Dakshin Dinajpur, alert BSF Jawans challenged them aggressively, seeing this they left their head load and fled away towards either side taking advantage of darkness and dense fog.

The BSF also rescued 11 cattles from being smuggled to Bangladesh from the responsibility area of BSF Sector Siliguri.
