CBI summons journalist Mathew Samuel again in Narada sting case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned journalist Mathew Samuel again in the Narada Sting operation case.
Samuel has been summoned to appear before CBI office in Bengaluru on August 22.
Samuel will be questioned regarding the sting operation he did in 2014 in West Bengal, which he published in 2016.
He was earlier summoned to Bengaluru by the probe agency on July 16, but he had sought more time as he was in the USA to cover the elections that time.
The CBI had summoned Samuel three times to its Kolkata office earlier.
After his appeal, the central probe agency had summoned him to their Bengaluru bureau on July 16, but he was unable to attend as he was in the US, following which the probe agency has served another notice to him, officials said.
