Chandigarh Police map traffic diversions, geotag parking for singer AP Dhillon's concert

The Chandigarh Traffic Police have issued an advisory for the AP Dhillon concert scheduled to take place at the Sector-25 Rally Ground on December 21.

The police informed that traffic disruptions are expected from 4 pm onwards, with key roads near the venue likely to experience congestion.

The public is advised to avoid roads around the Sector-25 Rally Ground, including the Sector 25/38 dividing road and Sector 14/25 dividing road up to the Kacha Rasta turn in Dhanas. Heavy traffic is also anticipated at Sector 14/15/24/25 Chowk, Bhaskar Chowk (Sector 24/25-37/38), Dadu Majra Light Point near the dumping ground, and Yatri Niwas Chowk (Sector 23/24-15/16).

Traffic and parking arrangements

Restricted roads: After 4:00 PM, entry will be restricted on the Sector 25/38 dividing road and Sector 14/25 dividing road.

Alternate routes: Commuters are advised to use Madhya Marg and Dakshin Marg to avoid congestion.

No venue parking: There is no parking facility at or near the concert venue.

The police said geo-tagged parking locations will be shared by organisers for convenience. Citizens are urged to follow the advisory to avoid inconvenience
