DELHI POLICE ARREST PERSONS ALLEGEDLY CHEATING IN DELHI COURTS EXAMINATION

New Delhi, March 1

The Delhi Police registered cases for alleged impersonation and deception against persons for allegedly using impersonation in recruitment process of Delhi Courts. The police have arrested 29 persons so far. 

The cases registered for alleged impersonation are for the post of peon/orderly/dak –peon/ chowkidar, sweeper/safai karmchari and process server ( Group C ) for Delhi Courts that was held on February 28. 

The police stated that a written examination for group C category recruitment in Delhi Courts was held in two shifts at various examination centres in Delhi. 

The officials added that several incidents of impersonation (Giving exam in place of some other) and use of deceptive means like using bluetooth etc were noticed.

The officials said, 14 FIRs were registered in this regard in which 29 persons have been arrested so far.

The Delhi Crime has registered three cases  while 11 cases have been registered at other police stations across Delhi.
