Delhi Police Dwarka District organized training for awareness and home care management

The Delhi Police Dwarka District decided that the services of the YUVA trainees as primary health workers through a new initiative of Delhi Police named “Skill Development Program”.
The YUVA trainees were imparted basic training from pathology laboratories so that they can assist the patients/hospitals in case of any emergency.
Dwarka District Police in association with Six Sigma Star Health Care (P) Ltd., completed 10 days short-term COVID Health Worker basic training programme for registered trainees under Delhi Police YUVA Initiative.
The short-term training programmes include various basic training of Health workers viz. Front Line Covid Health worker, General Duty Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Covid protocol, Home Care Assistant, CPR and Domestic Health Worker. These “Skilled YUVA” can also be used during vaccination drives at Covid Care Centres/Hospitals and related activities.
In addition to that, a job fair was also organized at for the thirty-two YUVA trainees, who had qualified for the 10 days COVID Health Worker basic training. A total of six reputed companies, hospitals, clinics participated in the job fair.
Dr. Samrul Hoda (Hospital Administrator) from BM Gupta Hospital Pvt. Ltd. briefed candidates about the field of nursing, future perspectives and the remuneration (which will be between Rs 12,000/- to Rs 18,000/-) they will get after selection.
Dr. S.M Thakur from Gandhi Hospital, Uttam Nagar also interacted with the candidates and motivated them like the mindset, one should adopt while performing his duty etc. and also guided them about possibilities in adopting nursing as a career.
The officials added that on completion of the interview session, 10 skilled YUVAs are assured for their placement by reputed hospitals/clinics and rest 22 Skilled YUVA are assured Dr Pradeep Bhardwaj (Chairman) Six Sigma Health (P) Ltd. that they will be recruited by Six Sigma Star Healthcare (P) Ltd. shortly.
