The Dwarka District Police organized free screening and check up for policemen and their families was organized at Dwarka wellness camp on the ocassion of the World Hearing Day.
THe community policing cell at Dwarka made liaison with Rampo Hearing clinic along with AYJNISHD (Noida), Sonadev Aarogyam, Unitron and Shruti to conduct “Hearing care for All-Screening, Rehabilitation"
DCP Dwarka, Santosh Kumar Meena stated that durng this program, 'free hearing screening, training, early intervention, prevention, free ear protection devices and awareness material were given to the police personnel and their families.
The police added that Dr. Ram P Kumar (Director) Rampo Clinic- described the simple self-hearing testing methods and the importance of regular visits with the professionals.
Senior Audiologist, Dr. Santosh Prasad, Dr. Alok, Dr. Kalyani Singh & other specialists conducted hearing screening and all other training and activities to all the policemen and their family members, police further said.
85 police personnel and their family members got their hearing tested during this camp. In addition to that, the doctors sensitized the police staff about hearing organs, which is highly sensitive and everyone should have to pay attention to such sound exposure, even while using headphones and earphones extensively.
