The Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang claimed responsibility for the shootings

New Delhi, September 3

Shots were fired outside the Cananda home of Punjai singer-rapper AP Dhillon.

In an Instagram post, the singer wrote, "I'm safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything. Peace and love to all (sic)."

The Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang claimed responsibility for the shootings. The gang also threatened AP Dhillon, referencing his alleged connections with Bollywood actor Salman Khan, and warned him to "stay within his limits, or he will meet a 'dog's death.'"

AP Dhillon recently appeared in a music video, titled 'Old Money' with Salman Khan.

The Canada-based singer Dhillon has become a celebrated global music sensation and was documented in Amazon Prime Video's 'AP Dhillon: First of a Kind'.

His rise on the global canvas has been meteoric owing to songs like 'Brown Munde', 'Excuses', 'Summer High', 'With You', 'Dil Nu', and 'Insane', among others.

In November last year, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for a purported shooting at singer Gippy Grewal's house in Canada.
