Boy gets trapped in an elevator in Greater Noida for an hour
The incident took place in Saviour GreenArch society in Greater Noida West

A boy was trapped for over an hour in a malfunctioning lift at a high-rise in Greater Noida West on August 11.
The police stated that the incident took place in Saviour GreenArch society in Greater Noida West.
The officials said that the boy was rescued only after an hour when technicians from the maintenance department arrived. he technicians used iron rods to force open the lift door.
This incident highlights the ongoing issue of elevator malfunctions in the area, despite the enactment of the UP Lift and Escalator Act 2024 meant to prevent such occurrences.
The incident comes almost over a month after two women house helps were trapped for over an hour in a lift at Noida’s Jaypee Greens Wish Town society in Sector 13.
