Noida police busts a rave party in Supertech Supernova, detains 35 persons

The police detained 35 individuals, including five organizers and seized hookah and alcohol

New Delhi, august 12

The Uttar Pradesh Police detained 35 college students after busting a rave party in Supertech Supernova in Noida.

The police were called in by neighbours reporting about chaos and drugs. 

The police stated that the incident began with the residents of Supertech Supernova in Noida’s Sector 94 began to protest after someone threw a bottle of alcohol from the flat where the party was happening, leading the residents to gather and confront the group.

Residents reported that an entry fee was charged for the party, with Rs 500 for singles and Rs 800 for couples. Invitations were reportedly sent out via WhatsApp messages. 

The police registered a case against 35 individuals, including five organizers. The police also seized hookahs and expensive bottles of alcohol were recovered from the site.

The police are currently investigating the matter.
