231 new recruits in paramilitary forces handed over appointment letters

New Delhi, August 28

Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur distributed appointment letters to 231 new recruits in para-military forces at the Indian Institute of Scientific Education and Research (IISER). 

The appointment letter distribution was held across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the union minister termed the drones coming from across the border and bringing drugs and weapons as a ‘major challenge’ before the security forces. 

He said, “Those who are going to join the CISF should know that a small mistake at the airport can lead to a bigger problem for the entire country,” he added.

Congratulating the Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra in World Athletics Championship 2023, the union sports minister said that the entire nation is proud of Chopra’s feat.
