Centre appoints eight senior IPS officers in Delhi Police, reshuffles 19 additional DCPs

New Delhi, July 15

The Centre appointed eight new Special Commissioners of Police in Delhi Police upon their arrival from central deputation. 

The 1994 batch IPS officer, Neeraj Thakur who was DG Andaman & Nicobar has been appointed as Special CP (MD), Police Housing Corporation while 1992 batch IPS officer Satish Golcha has been appointed as Special CP Intelligence Division. 

Sunil Kumar Gautam has been appointed as Special CP Training while Tejendar Singh Luthra has been appointed as Special CP Technology and Implementation Division. 

RP Upadhyay has been appointed as Special CP Perception Management and Division & Operations while Garima Bhatnagar has been appointed as Special CP Provisioning and Finance. K Jegadesan who was on study leave has been appointed as Special CP SPUWAC & SPUNER upon his arrival. 

In addition to this, the Centre also appointed and reshuffled 19 IPS and DANIPS officers in Delhi Police. the 2011 batch IPS officer Pratiksha Godara has been appointed as DCP Special Cell and 2013 batch officer Surendra Choudhary has been appointed as DCP EOW. The additional DCPs have been reshuffled in various districts.
