New Delhi, February 10
The Delhi Police has witnesses its most awaited transfers of deputy CPs in the city while changing the previous set up of women DCPs heading the district.

Usha Rangani is now DCP Special Branch, Shweta Chauhan has been appointed as DCP General Administration and DCP Esha Pandey will now serve as DCP Traffic.
Until last year, seven women DCPs were heading the districts of Delhi Police- Usha Rangnani (DCP North West), Shweta Chauhan (DVP Central) , Esha Pandey (DCP South East) , Priyanka Kashyap (DCP East), Benita Mary Jaiker (DCP South), Amrutha Guguloth (DCP New Delhi now East district), Tanu Sharma (DCP IGI).
At present only two women IPS officers are heading the districts- Amrutha Guguloth as DCP East and Chandan Chowdhary as DCP South.
This transfer has brought DCP Joy Tirkey as DCP North East while Sanjay Sain has been transferred as DCP Central.
