Gurugram Police looks for cyber experts to assist police in cyber cell

New Delhi, February 3

In an effort to boost cybersecurity, the Gurugram police is looking for volunteers with sound knowledge and practical experience in the field of cyber security to assist Gurugram Police Cyber Wing in enhancing the Cyber safety of Gurugram.

The volunteers will be designated as Cyber Safety Officers (CSO) will work with Gurugram Police to spread cyber awareness; prevent cybercrime; and create a cyber aware Gurugram. 

They will assist Gurugram Police in conduct of community outreach programs (cyber rahgiri), workshops in schools/ colleges regarding safe use of social media, designing cyber safety interventions/ projects, undertake site visits and attend meetings along with Gurugram Police Cyber Wing, interact with RWAs to educate parents about safeguarding their children from cybercrimes and assist in building and enhancing social media outreach of Cyber Wing of Gurugram Police.
