Rajasthan police books a couple in Kota for shooting an obscene video on highway

When the video appeared on the Internet, the police took a note of it and booked the couple obscenity

New Delhi, May 24

The Rajasthan police arrested a man and a woman in Kota after a video of them romancing on a speeding motorcycle on a national highway went viral on social media.

The accused was identified as Mohammed Wasim, 25, a resident of Kaithun town in Kota district. 

The video was shot at the Kota-Bundi Nation Highway. The police located the accused based on the motorcycle's registration number. 

When the video appeared on the Internet, the police took a note of it and booked the couple obscenity. 

The couple work at a private firm in Kota and come from different places.

After arresting them, the police shot a video of the couple in which both of them apologized for their action. 

The accused have been booked under IPC section 294 (obscene act in public). 

Wasim urged people not to commit such acts in public as it could endanger their safety, and stated that police would take action against such acts, officials added.
